Figtree Physio Welcome Aboard the South Coast Wolves
Figtree Physio are pleased to announce that we are the Physiotherapy and Rehab Coordinator for the South Coast Wolves Football Club for the 2012 season. The South Coast Wolves are the the most prestigious football club south of Sydney and have a great history of football success. Figtree Physio will provide injury management and treatment to the Junior and Senior football sides in addition to implementing injury prevention strategies. We are looking forward to assisting in the development of high class football in the Illawarra.

2011 Update
2011 has been a year a great year at Figtree Physio. We are busier than ever, have great new staff and a whole lot of new rehabilitation knowledge and equipment to assist with injury rehabilitation. Our sporting teams and athletes have been successful and predominately injury free! Our website will be updated in the next few months to include Facebook and Twitter links, in addition to highlighting our new professional associations…..Stay Tuned. In the meantime find us on the Figtree Physio Facebook site and Twitter for regular hints and tips.

Dry Needling
In 2011 the entire Physiotherapy staff will receive training in the methods of dry needling. There has been some excellent scientific evidence released of late that shows the benefits of dry needling and acupuncture in promoting healing and providing pain relief.
