Karlie Wins The Australia Day Aquathon!
Figtree Physiotherapy’s Karlie Hogan performed some running magic and won the mixed teams event at the Australia Day Aquathon in Wollongong. Team with local based, international triathlete Shane Barrie, Karlie was able to hold off a very strong race group to win the mixed teams title.
Well Done Karlie!!

Welcome Llew to Figtree Physiotherapy
We are excited to announce the arrival of a new physiotherapist to Figtree Physiotherapy. Llew Scott is now working with our experienced team of physiotherapists having made the move from the Gold Coast, Queensland. Llew is an experienced Exercise Physiologist and is looking forward to further developing his physiotherapy career at the practice.
Llew is experienced in high level exercise prescription and athletic performance enhancement so feel free to use his unique services at Figtree Physiotherapy!

Welcome to the New Year!
From all the Staff at Figtree Physiotherapy, we would like to wish all of our loyal patients and their families a great new year.
As usual we have an action packed year ahead with the addition of a new physiotherapist, Llew Scott, late in January. Llew will allow us to continue to develop the practice and continue to provide a great level of service for our patients. Llew has a wealth of knowledge in the areas of rehabilitation and exercise prescription and we are extremely happy to have him at the practice.

Figtree Touch Girls Win The Grand Final
Here is the Finals report by superstar Narelle Cummins:
The 09/10 touch season was an impressive one for the Figtree Physiotherapy sponsored women’s touch team, who plays in the Wollongong Winter touch competition at Dalton Park, Fairy Meadow.
This is the 3rd season Figtree Physiotherapy has sponsored the girls, who have had impressive results in previous seasons, but has failed to capture the title.
This year, with recruitment of some seasoned players saw the Figtree girls only lose a handful of games during the rounds. Most of those just before the semi-finals!
We lost the Semi-Final to Studio 22, 5-2 in a hard fought game, but came up trumps in the Preliminary Final 7-2 against Castrol Cougars.
The much anticipated Grand Final was yet another grudge match against our bogey team, Studio 22. We have only beaten this well drilled Over 40’s Wollongong Representative team once in 3 seasons. But this was not their night and we played outstanding to take home the title 3-1.Well Done Girls…..Bring on the Summer Comp!
